he Read Aloud 15 MINUTES movement owes its momentum to more than 10,000 partners across all 50 states that care a
“whole awful lot.”

Today, we want to recognize five who — like Dr. Seuss’ Lorax — have gone above and beyond to rally their communities around the cause of reading aloud 15 MINUTES every day from birth.

The five 2016 Read Aloud 15 MINUTES Community Outreach Champions come from a cross-section of organizations — a library, a business, a Rotarian, a United Way leader, and an early learning coalition — but they share a common trait: They recognize the urgency of our message and believe in its effectiveness. They have devoted their formidable persuasive powers, resources, and energy to rally their communities around the cause and attract new partners to our campaign.

We hope that their work will inspire you. Perhaps you know someone in the community who could achieve something similar… Perhaps *you* are that somebody. Learn more about becoming a Volunteer Community Outreach Leader.
